Starting the Maule?

I like to fly the Maule plane  -but just can't start it from the cockpit. I have to use control E for it to fire up. No matter what setting of mixture etc  -it just turns over - but won't fire.
Any ideas?

There's a glitch with the tank selector in FSX..  Switch tanks back and forth, and then try it..

For some reason, after flying certian aircraft, the fuel stays in the "off" postion to the sim; regardless of the initial selector position. Ctrl+E worked in FS9, but you gotta filddle with the selector in FSX (which is "kinda" realistic..  I'd never start a plane without cycling the tank selector, and then setting it for take-off)...

Nah  -still a cranky startup - the jiggling with the tank selectors didn't work. The Maule is a fine plane
