Is there anyway of converting textures to a format that works in DX10, or atleast finding out if they will work before one downloads an addon? I have downloaded sooo many aircraft for FSX and not one has actually showed up with the textures?

Brett's Cessna 177RG is the only addon aircraft I know of that is fully DX10 compatible. If you disable DX10 Preview, you will be able to use more addon aircraft

Do you not find that when you disable DX10 framerates go through the floor though? So thats not really an option for me!

I really didn't notice a drop in Performance.

If I remember correctly, it NickN was the one who recommended using DX9 simply because DX10 has bugs, and doesn't really improve performance

I've never heard anyone else say they notice much performance difference either, but just tried it again...over Friday Harbour i get a constant fixed 35fps with DX10, without its anything between 15-25 (whilst still fixed at 35!).

Do all your aircraft lights dissapear with DX10? There are a few of us that have a problem with aircraft lights dissapearing with DX10, but NickN believes it is a graphics card driver problem

I have noticed that all the airport lights seem to be like 1m up above the ground though  :D

What Video card driver version are you running?

This one apparently... 7.15.11.6925

I did upgrade to the latest one a few weeks ago, but the computer crashed before install was fully complete, so i don't know if it worked or not?
