gate numbers

hey im wondering how to get the gate numbers on the gates. like if the atc told me to taxi to gate 3 then how do i make it so gate 3 has 3 above it.

-you can't  - you just have to grab a gate which is free.

They don't cos they don't know either. Usually there should be a "Progressive Taxi" or something like that and it goes up to (or at least close to) the gate.

Yeah, you have to turn on progressive taxi or the ATC won't know your at a gate because they expect you go go to the one they said. Anywhere else and it thinkgs your still taxiing and your ATC menu will not allow other commands.
