Can I delete or deactivate the aircraft I never fly to save on resources? If so, how?

Just put in another place,in a folder don't delete it is my advise ,I don't see the point of why delete it ,i doesn't eat resorces, and be careful is not one of the default planes ,some of them are aliased in sounds..
the aircrafts are here
C:\Program files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes
find the folder of the plane like for example "DeHavilland_Beaver_DHC2" and put this folder in another safe place ,that's it you won't see it in the menu, if you want it back just put it back..

Thanks. I didn't think of the AI. I like the other aircraft flying around me so I'll keep them.
Thanks for your replies!

If you just want to save space on your (main)drive you can put your airplanes on an other (external)drive...
