That card is almost 10 years old.  The only reason to buy it would beif you like to collect old, useless computer parts or for sentimental reasons .  Tell us about your system specs and I'm sure someone can help you find a better, affordable card. ;)

With that combination of memory, video card and processor you`re really wasting your time trying to improve it.  Better to hang on to the money and put it toward a more modern machine as and when you can.  FSX is very processor reliant and the Semperon is a cut down processor, not very powerful (I have one in my laptop).  Memory wants to be 2gig upwards, preferably 3 gig and then start thinking about a video card upgrade.  With that setup, whatever video card you get is going to be throttled by the processor, probably the PSU too to a certain extent.  I would not waste money on it for limited improvements, not when newer machines are at such an all time low price.

I haven`t got a top machine but only spent

Good luck mate, I really hope you get there.  A lot of fun can be had with FSX and it needn`t cost the earth at all.
