Blinded cockpits

Postby RAF_Loke » Thu Jan 17, 2008 4:16 am

Have a problem with some of the downloaded planes.
It's regarding the Mirage F1, the Westland Merlin helicopters and latest Iris's Tornado F3.

Even though they are fully compatable with FSX I get like an overpainted cockpit.

It is so far only on these 3 types I have this problem, any idea what might be wrong and how I can fix it?

Cheers

Your problem appears to be the same as this one. http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1200504096

The fix didn't work, problem is still there.

I like to know if it's only me that has this problem.
Anyone here who has the Iris's Tornado F3 working fine in VC mode?

I experienced the same problem with the F-16. Kirk's release. My canopy was all green and still is.

I have the exact same problem I've read around and it seems to me that it is service pack 2 that is causing the problem. There is a fix for the kirk olsen F16 though it isn't the canopy, yet it is a related problem

http://www.simviation.com/fsxmilitary16.htm

i hope they can also fix the canopy problem

Not solved my problem, and now I have another problem with more freeware planes.
Namely FS2004/FSX Savoia Marchetti SM.79 Sparviero Package (V.01) and FSX L-10A Electra Package. The problem with these 2 are that it's like texture is missing especially on the SM.79, no wheels, no engines, no cockpit only the gauges. On the L-10A some of the cockpit is transparent.
And I can't believe it's an error from the designers side, it's gotta be in my end maybe a SP2 problem. And I suspect that it is in the end the same problem as with the blinded cockpits above.
