With that card, I believe it is not capable of handling FSX. I would simply get a new card, just not sure which one. see this link- http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1198072357/57#57
I have the 8800GTS and FSX runs fairly well, but I do get soe occasional problems, like the ones described in the thread I linked.
Good luck, hope you get it going good. :)

I don't think this is true.  I used to use an nVidia 6200 for FSX Deluxe w/ Acceleration.  I don't have an answer for why you are getting an error message, but thought you should know that your card should work.

I am currently using my NVidia 6800 GT for flying FSX SP2.
Update your drivers.

What operating system are you using?  The only thing I can think of based on the error message, is that your graphics card drivers are not up to date or haven't been installed properly.

I would read Nick's post at the top of the forum, titled "Clean FSX, Acceleration, SP1 & SP2 Install!"  Follow all the instructions step by step for updating graphics drivers.  The instructions can be found at this link, within his post.

This post was from November and there are newer divers than the 169.04 drivers specified in the post.  Just go to nVidia.com and download the newest drivers for your card and OS; use those drivers in place of the 169.04 drivers.

It probably wouldn't hurt to make sure you have the latest updates at windows update also.

Hopefully this will help you, good luck.
