Which im sure have very simple answers, but im a bit puzzled...!
1. When i add FSX aircraft into FSX all the aircraft textures, except a few, appear blank...? These are not FS9 a/c btw... I do remember a thread about this a while ago, but couldnt find anything ... so sorry if its been asked 100 times before!
2. When i try and take a screenshot it saves a blank black image to the clipboard? Am i missing something here? In FS9 you just pushed print screen. Or could this be to do with the new system?
Thankyou in advance lads

I don't know for the viewpoint, however:
1- It's because of the DX10 mode. A lot of texture formats are no more supported in the DX10 mode, resulting in blank aircrafts. Disable it, it's useless anway. Go back to DX9.
2- to take a screenshot, press the 'V' key. It will create automatically a BMP file in your "My Document\My picture\FSX files" folder or something like that.

I've already tried asking how I can speed up the pan rate acceleration while in secondary views within the VC, but nobody seemed to know. I've tried messing around with the CFG files, but no luck yet. As far as I know, the only way to get around this is to pan around with the mouse by holding down the space bar, and moving the mouse around

Cheers Daube, you are partially correct anyway...going back to DX9 solves the texture problem! BUT, my performance dropped massively, ie from locked at 35 fps, with medium-high settings to about 20ish! So im back with DX10. Lucky thing the default AC are so nice, cos looks like they are all im gonna have to play with for a while!
Esselbach, im talking about the 'move eye-point' buttons, which basically let you walk around the aircraft/cockpit? The pan speed doesn't bother me quite so much, but to move from one end of a 747 to the other takes about 20 mins!, which is just stupid! Am i making any sense here lol?
Thanks for the help guys, much appretiated :)
