C150 VC Gauge Issue

I found the BEST Cessna 150 out there, it's payware quality, and if FREE. :o :o (I bet some of you have seen this before)

Here's the link:
http://www.fs-tutorials.com/en/down_plane_C150_01.php

It's at the bottom of the page, please read the flashing thing about the password right below the download link.

But there's a problem.....the gauges don't show up properly in the VC, it's very hard to describe so please see the screenshot below. I know this aircraft is made for FS2004, but I know it is supposed to work in FSX just fine. I googled this thing and found countless YouTube videos and screenshots of people using this aircraft in FSX with no issues at all. So I know there is SOME way to make this work.

I have read another forum that told me to remove '-' signs on the coordinates of the gauges, however, the particular gauges that don't work do not have any '-' signs, so I'm really stuck here.

I am wondering if anyone is willing to download this plane for themself, and see if they have the same issue in the VC that I do. I don't know if it's just my computer or something becuase as I said, there are videos of this plane working in FSX.

Thanks so much guys!! ;D 8-)

Here's the screenie of what happens on my system, you can see how only parts of the gauges show up. :(

Sorry for the huge picture and the long winded problem!

It is because the plane was made for FS9. Most of the time FS9 planes do this kind of thing in FSX.

Like you mention, it should work in FSX, but I doubt it is your system, that is a typical FS9 panel giving problems in FSX.

In the link you posted there was a comment that hopefully they will make it work in FSX, meaning there are some issues with this plane in FSX, also as you experienced it.

It even gets worse when you have SP2, as most FS9 planes wont work like it should in FSX.

This Cessna was working fine on SP1, but it was a FPS-killer.
On SP2 now it is no more compatible because of those gauge problems... Let's hope the author(s) decide to build a real FSX SP2 model, so that the performance issue dissappears as well.

It worked fine for me up to and including SP1, no FPS problems here with it.  The gauge problem was at the onset of SP2 and fully expected.  I tried some of the fixes doing the rounds but none seemed to work.  A Pity because the loss of this aircraft from anyones hanger is a great one indeed.  I`m sure it will get fixed in the fullness of time.
