Hi.

I've just installed FSX on to a new Vista computer. It all seem to be working fine, except for the Grumman Goose and a C-46A Commando. For some reason the engines sounds like they are running full bore. As long as I only star one of the engines all is well, but affter starting the second one (ony on the inside) it sounds like thay are running full bore. On the C-46 it's on the outside that they sound like they are running full bore.

Can anyone here help me with this?

I Have the same problem I found that my Sound drivers where out of date so I DL the new drivers and that fixed it but only for the Fist restart now its doing it again.

Hey, Try going to Device Manager and going to Sound Video Controller and Right clicking your current drievrs and updating ? If that does not find any Results i reccomend Everest Download and That gives you info about your system and you can find out what motherboard you have and were to get you updates? Thanks!

Ok the same the same for me. I even got FSX Deluxe and reinstalled it with no chang in the sounds. However I aliased the Grumman Goos to the def. DC3 sound file and this fixed it. Now I have FSX D on a XP computer and it does not do this. I hope there is a fix for this.
