Forgot to state that there is not a possible way to control the plane with a keyboard if you cant see the joystick(the one in the plane)

the joystick is the little thing on the left hand side of the cockpit. and yes you can use a keyboard, you dont drag the joystick...

unless the joystick is physically missing and there is a hole where it should be?

I suggest buying a joystick. Any joystick, even a cheap one would be better than attempting to fly with the keyboard.

You can fly any airplane without a joystick but the bigger the plane the harder it is going to be to try to control. You will need to know how to use the trim tabs. If you can fly the single planes with out a joystick really good than you should not have to much trouble just remember things are going to move a little faster thus changing your reaction times.
I have a Saitek ST90 joystick it was only $20.00 but it does not have a third axis which you would use for the rudder. I have the CH Pro Peddles. They are worth the money. 8-)

Modern "fly-by-wire" aircraft like the A320 have sidestick controllers very much like conventional gaming joysticks. Note that these are left & right-handed.

This is the office of the A380 with the same type of sidestick. Note that keyboards are also fitted. I don't know what they're used for.
