Just curious to know if there has been any know fixes with gamespy in regards to dropping connections and the dissconnect message i get when trying to login?

"You have been disconnected from GameSpy. You may have logged in on another computer."

IF gamespy uses what is called peer to peer to connect with The only fix is to stop using it.  and from what you describe it sounds as if it does.
The bad part of peer to peer is if you get to many users who use a dialup to connect with it drags the whole system down and eventually it will start booting people off in order to try to work. And it uses no particular method to determine who gets booted and who does not.   One reason why I went to VATSIM. About the only way to get peer peer to work half way right is to try to dedicate times for each type of user but most people just dont seem to care and will log on whenever they want to.
I know that is a drag but that is just the way it is. The web sites do not tell you about that as if most people knew of it they would not use it 8-).
