What's wrong with this picture?

Either I never noticed or I forgot this, as it's been a while since I flew.  The layout between the 2d and VC panels in the Baron are way different.   I can understand moving the RMI for convenience sake, but the fuel gauges are also relocated and a totally different style too, as is the dme display and the gear panel Which could have been done in a separate window for my money.   :P

Well, they simply "cheated" in order to be able to display all of the main instruments on the same picture.
The panel would have been to big if they respected the original layout of the instrument, you would not have been able to see anything outside, then...

Yeah, I know.  It just caught be by surprise after an extended absence from FS.  I just never really notice HOW inaccurate it is... ::)

The default Beech Baron 58 is my favourite aircraft to Tour with, and the reason why I always use the Default 2D instrument panel is because, (unlike most 3rd-Party panels), it can be reduced in height with the mouse, to increase the forward view area... :)...!
The 2D panel also shows every vital instrument, and control, for instant access.
Even the Throttle/Prop/Mixture panel can be re-sized (small) and dragged down into the Main Panel area.... [smiley=thumbsup.gif]...!

My Bendix-King Radio Stack is toggled on/off via my Joystick buttons.

This arrangement is so useful, that I rarely think of using the VC/3D Panel for flying... :o...!

Paul...If I rotate myself sideways in 2D, I disappear... ;D...!

P.S....Ooopss...just noticed. This is the FSX Thread! My response concerned my Baron in FS 2004!

I usually will open the radio stack and resize it and the 2d panel so that both will appear as one panel.  Works out pretty well, but I still like to be able to pan around in the VC...
