scenery problem

I do most of my flying in North Carolina and the southern part of Virginia but I have to think that this is an issue all over. The municiple airport in Shelby has a tree in the approach path. The approach to Harnett County airport has a high power line tower a few feet off the end of one runway and Navy Norfolk has a highway running through it. Does anyone know if Microsoft is addressing this sort of issue. Is anyone else having a problem with it?

their is a very simple to use tool called SBuilder where you can remove autogen

i will try and find you a link for it, it will let you clear the approach of any unwanted tree's

and you can also build scenery in it, place objects remove autogen and flatten scenery.

give me some time and il try and find a link. it might even be on SimV

thanks. that would be great, but I hope that it is not too technical, as I still have problems with some of the simple stuff. I would think that Microsoft would issue some sort of patch.

You are kidding right! This is Microsoft we are talking about you know the company that has time and time again released operating systems with more bugs than you can shake a stick at in them. They are still working out the bugs in FSX it will be a while before they even think about checking scenery for misplaced trees. Look at FS2004 there are more strange sceneries than hole in swiss cheese. Sorry about all of the comparisons. you are worried about a tree what about a VOR building in the middle of a runway. I promise you there is one in FS2004. Do not get me wrong I am hooked on flight simulator one just has to live with all of the little problems until you can figure out how to get rid of them  8-)
