Congrats to Aces for getting this out for the holiday season.  And a reminder to users of addons which modify the terrain.cfg (Vancouver+, Victoria+, Ultimate Terrain, Megascenery, VisualFlightUK, etc.): run your repair/configurator per the vendors instructions to restore your terrain.cfg after installing SP2.

Some thoughts on SP2: http://jonpatch.wordpress.com/2007/12/1 ... n-fsx-sp2/

Thanks, Nick!

Your work is always a delight to experience. I would not run my sim without it.

Thanks for the rundown on SP2 as well   http://jonpatch.wordpress.com/2007/12/1 ... n-fsx-sp2/

Is there any advantage to replacing Acceleration with SP-2 or are they actually the same thing?

Acceleration already has all components of SP2, you don't need it, and it won't install anyway if you've got Acceleration!

As Jon said, if you have Acceleration, you have SP2 and it will refuse to install if you try to run it.

no differences at all between the two
