default settings lowered?
Posted: Thu Dec 06, 2007 10:12 pmok, i bought acceleration today and two things happened. one, the game flashes (like fps of 0.5 and black between frames) when in 'full screen' mode but works fine in maximised mode. also, after being fed up with this, i clicked 'restore defaults' under settings and they all went to low, after previously being all high. im running dual screens (fsx on only one though), vista, 2gb ram, 3ghz pentium processor. what has happend??! :-?
Two suggestions; first un-install acceleration and see if the sim returns to normal. Second; You do have FSX deluxe version I assume. (It probably wouldn't install if you didn't). If you do uninstall Acceleration, make a copy of your FSX cfg file and then delete the original. See what happens when it rebuilds the file. I must live right because I haven't had any problems with FSX or Acceleration.
