Hi,

I just Installed FSX Deluxe on my:

IBM T42 LAPTOP
1GB RAM
Processor 1.69 GHZ
ATI Mobility RADEON 7500
150 GB Hard Disk

When I set the settings to Graphics, Aircraft, weather to ULTRA HIGH FSX slows down and is very sluggish.

FSX works really great with the default Graphics, Weather, Aircraft I guess settings is on low and it worked great with FS 2004

So here is the Question:
Should I add 1 more GB of RAM so total of RAM will be 2GB?

Or just purchase a newer laptop with like 3.GHZ processor?

-Thanks

Granted the more system ram you have the better it will work. The problem with laptops is the amount of VIDEO RAM  due to size limitations I do not think you can put a video card into one. Therefore you will have to relay on the on board video ram. So what you would want ideally is a laptop that has both a large amount of system ram and a high amount of video ram. 8-)
