Why I can't take off, everytime I lift the ground ,my engines stars of fire, smoke and crash :-/

This doesn't do with the DC-3 and the others :-/

I don't have accel., but does this have something to do with the realism setting?
Too much throttle for a too long time --> engine damage?
You could try taking off with 9/10 throttle....,
Cheers,
Fabian

If that's the Acceleration Mustang, I did read somewhere that one of the things they had included in the flight model was that if you pushed the engine too hard, it would do something like that.
Fix: Pull back on the throttle a bit

Ok..I did it and it work, I almost ran out of runway :P,
But I think this is not realism ,Unless the mainteinance Mechanical, or had a drunk night before , Piston engines has to be Adjust well enough to not allow the engines goes too in RPM until brokes this shouldn't, why would be ? is not like a car who has a transmition and if your a neutral and hit full gas you sure will brake the car engine, but in a plane ,tide with a propeler? lets see if one of our real life pilot knows about this strange stuff .. :-/

Make sure your prop pitch is set correctly as well. Try the Reno tutorial mission, that explains some of what is happening. Or you could just turn off "engine stress causes damage" or whatever it is in the realism menu.

LOL
I like it!
I guess they decided to show you the difference between a game and a simulator
Flying a real plane is not a game and you can do some real damage opening a throttle wide and not properly setting up the controls.
I would like to see more aircraft like that.. more PMDG and better. I prefer the realistic aspects over just just pushing the GO button.

I believe the Mustang featured in Acceleration is a 'Reno Racer'. These are not ordinary aircraft but more like 'hot-rods' powered by highly modified engines which are pushed to the limit. It's not uncommon for them to blow up during a race.

I'm not near my sim to check.. but I seem to remember that Accelleration Mustang engine's super-charger can produce some ridiculous manifold pressures (like more than 100")(just like a real racer). That kind of manifold pressure can only be used for very short periods.. obviously..

It shouln't at the moment off taking off, is almost instant when Full throlle ,and bang! ,bye engine, this is not realism ,I don't know about real mechanical aviation ,but this should be adjust to never blow up,or pass over in RPMs, maybe in race planes for climbing and it should last a minute or two before blows ,but this is instant..so why not to limit this throlle, if it would be like that, would be for nothing, its a matter of adjusting the engine (carburator or whatever it is) to limit the acceleration..
I don't think there is a plane you hit full tholle to take off and lost the engine right after finish the runway..

Yes, it's probably not totally 100% realistic, but the real reno racers are close to it in terms of engine damage.

If I read the blogs correctly, when Acceleration was previewed at the Reno Races earlier this year, the REAL racers were hightly impressed with the performance and realism.
This ain't a warmed over CFS2 air file being used, eh Nick?
Now, if we can only model a Hucks Starter....

Im not talking about Reno racing (Wich I found it very fun adventure) I'm talking about a plane, a real engine acceleration while taking off.. ,that blows as a realistic feature...Can't be..

Remember, RENO racers are usually not "real planes".
I think it's very likely that you can over-rev the engine if you go full throttle on take-off.
