Carrier landings not logged

I've been pounding the Carrier in FSX quite a bit with the F/A-18. I've noticed in the logbook that the flights are logged but not a single one of my landings is logged in it. Is this an oversight by ACES, is it meant to not record the landings? Or is this an error with my system? It does "count" the landings as I receive the awards for the missions

This probably has to dowith the fact that the carrier is an AI object and does not
recognized as an airfield.

I suggest that you get a good FSX logbook editor and enter those landing statistics yourself.

Under NO cercumstances should you attempt to edit the logbook from within FSX as that
is almost a SURE way to corrupt the logbook.

Do a Google search for the "logbookedit" program created by lamont Clarc ( lc0277 ).
I use this editor all the time to delete entries or correct errors\oversights in the logbook.

I THINK I recall that after trapping and launching several times in a single session that
if I landed back ashore at an airport, the landings got credited to that airport but my
memory is a bit uncertain about this. The logbookedit is the way to go, IMO.

Thought as much, and I've already done it. I've had a logbook editor for a while now. What I don't get is the mission counts the landing, couldn't it just inject it to the logbook?

You'll have to get an answer from ACES for that question....
