My cousin just installed Acceleration..

Athlon64X2 6000
8800GS 384mb(I think)
Vista32 Home

Some of the gauges aren't showing up.. It's like the gauge textures won't display..

Anyone heard of this yet ?
 Thanks...

Thanks, Reider..

Yeah..I think this is an ,   8800/Vista/DX10/nVidia problem.

And gauge textures aren't something you can change the format on... without extracting them from the gauge files and I'm not even sure if you can still do that (ala Gauge-to-BMP).. and I'm certainly not going to have my cousin dive in that deep...

Fortunately, he built the computer and will just switch back to XP, and keep Vista on hold.

I'll post back, if that's the solution

Your cousin does not have the DELUXE version of FSX?

Find out

If not, the problem is from the lack of aircraft gauge support Aces screwed up on. If you do not have the deluxe version some gauges/files may be missing

Sorry.. I should have posted the remedy..  He has FSX Deluxe..

He reinstalled XP and all is well..

Does acceleration automatically go to DX10 if the computer is running Vista ?
