i was online yesterday looking for some quality downloads for fsx. in fs9 i could esaly find free ware aircraft that matched or even surpassed the quality of the default aircraft. with fsx how ever i seem to be struggling to find quality aircraft. although i havent been looking for very long. the point is that i think that aces/microsoft did a good job im not dissapointed at all. the only complaint is that the westland somthin or other helicoptor is heavy on frame rates. or is it just me do i half to look harder or just wait a while for somthing nice.  

The point here is that with all the patches & updates the developers have yet to get to grips with FSX. The more complex the software the more difficult it is to create addons for it. I suspect that many freeware developers won't even have FSX installed or the hardware to run it. I don't think there will many 'proper' FSX aircraft available for a while yet.
