He forgot to mention that the gate dosnt work wioth all aircraft, there are a couple of things that need to go in the cfg file for them to work, especaially on ported aircraft. Most new planes should be ok.
Oh right, sorry. I thought it was kinda obvious, but now that I think of it, it isn't.
Obviously, light planes, in otherwords, anything other than airliners or commercial jets won't work with the jetways (at least I don't think so). However, addon planes, imported from FS9 for example, or maybe FS9 addon planes may not work with the jetways because of CFG entries not being there, much like FS9 planes not having self-shadowing.
The FS engine requires that when an aircraft is to be used for the sim, certain tags, or 'flags' as they are more commonly know, must be set in order for the engine to say, okay, I'll do that.
So, by default, FSX aircraft should work fine. However, there is no guarantee that addon aircraft will work too.
And finally, probably one of the most important things, make sure 'Advanced Animations' is on. If not, no fancy features like flexing wings, or moving jetways...
