Acceleration trivia

Ok you whizes! I have a good question here. Just bought Acceleration and when I put the disk in it says I need FSX to install this, well guess what, I HAVE FSX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and it is not a COPY!!! @$%&@%#%&
Ok now that I have calmed down, can anyone tell me what may be going wrong?

The first thing that comes to mind is perhaps your registry entries that points to your FSX install is missing/corrupted?

Nope I found the answer AFTER HOURS OF PAINFULL HOLDING ON SOFTWARE SUPPORT!!! Some people, for some stupid reason that microsoft cannot explain yet, have to uninstall FSX, re-install it and THEN install Acceleration... WONDERFUL!! :-?
