Don't worry mate it happened to me i just re-installed FSX and the SP1 and it was fixed
Guess that's what I'll have to do - I'm going to have to spend today re-installing my add-ons 





did you remove the suneffect.cfg ? and place the ORIGINAL BACK???in the main FSX directory? or maybe you accidentaly delete a file ,try the restore ,or try the repair option of FSX..
