Just one of those days I guess

So I love FSX and hate it at the same time. Many of you have this same feeling I'm sure.  Today FSX just wanted to mess with me and well it did a pretty good job of it.

I decided to go fly online and as soon as I loaded I saw what looked to be a good server. I got in and started my flight and found there were 2 excellent ATC online so I started a flight or two in the San Diego area.  As I'm landing in Palemaro (spell check please) in my Fletcher I hit this massive thermal that caused my plane to rise even with my nose down and engine Idle. Now being interested in gliders I enjoy flying them in FS, especially now that I have a tow plane option.  After I finally landed I talked to the tower and since that airport didn't have a lot of traffic he let me take my glider up against the pattern. (didn't want to fly 5 mi out over the ocean)  I got up and found the thermal again and rode it up along the mountains trying to get enough altitude to fly back to KSAN, a roughly 30 mile trip. It was working fantastically and I felt I would soon head back to KSAN.  I had gotten to 6,000 (from a 2,000 ft release mind you) and then of course my sim crashes. I was a little surprised and obviously frustrated, I tried to get back in but as soon as I loaded the sim it crashed again, and then once more after that.  I tried to get online one more time but the server was full. I was quite worried my thermal was going to disappear, but I finally got back in and took off from another airport so I wouldn't disrupt the flow of traffic. I got up and found no thermals so I made a landing at a small airport. I landed and tried to get back up again but that airport was too small for the tow plane to takeoff again and it crashed, I promptly followed.  I loaded one more time to try and find my thermal again but with no luck. Once I decided it was time to finally land... I got kicked....  No idea why, no warning... and that was that.

Every time I fly FS if I'm bored and have no objective FS will run for hours no problem.  Though the moment I find a purpose or an intrest, It crashes...  Anyone elce have this phenomenon ?  Its very annoying.  >:(

Someone once told me FS9 was really buggy in that you couldn't complete a long flight without something going wrong...I guess the same can be said for FSX...Maybe SP2 will fix some issues...Maybe not... :-/

I finished many long flights in FS9 and rarely had trouble.  FSX has its good days but then the days where all the bugs are active.
