Steve Hinson

It is with great sadness that I annouce the passing of Steve Hinson.

I have just heard he passed away yesterday with his wife, both sons & their families at his side.

Steve was a fantastic contributor to our hobby with his re-worked F-14 Tomcat packages & Carrier sceneries & videos. He provided entertainment to 10's of thousands of people all over the world.

He did great things for FSX and FS2004. To see some of his videos of his work see this

He was also a good & personal friend, regularly sending me MP3's and voip  instead of emails - that way he could talk for a long time & give his views on our hobby, etc. His last mail to me was September 13th.

We've lost a great guy.

Didn`t know him personally but anyone who supports this hobby is going to be a tragic loss to the community, and their family.  May God rest his soul and look after his family in this time.
