blurries regardless of slider settings

I realise there are a lot of different settings that can affect dreaded blurries.
I have an AMD FX57 with 8800 GTX card, 4 gb ram, using windows XP SP2.
FSX has SP1 installed. latest nvidia drivers installed and direct x 9.0c.

No matter what settting sliders are at under dispaly settings, all could be set at 0, scenery textures are blurry.
I have played with different settings in nvidia control panel, nothing seems to make slightest difference.
I have changed fsx.config re bufferpools etc.......no difference

Is my system just not up to it, or has anyone got any ideas please?

Uninstall and reinstall the nVidia drivers. That sometimes cures it ;)

It will be difficult to help you if you do not write precisely the settings you have tried, and the tweaks you have written in your FSX.cfg. Tell us more :)

Tried re installing nvidia drivers, used driver cleaner to make sure all old drivers had gone........no change.

Only possible problem is under dx diag test, when go to Display, then test direct 3D, I don't get a nice rotating cube...just a rotating blur. No errors shown under direct x tab or display tab.

With regard to changes to fsx.config: Texture Bandwith from 30 to 300 and range between
fiber frame 0.33 to 0.9 and range between
                                                     Bufferpool 10000000 to 5000000

nvidia card settings: antisotropic filtering 16x
                             antialiasing gamma on
                             antialiasing mode enhance
                             antialiasing 8x
                             antailiasing  transparency multisampling
                             conformant texture clamp off
                             extension limit off
                             force bitmaps trilinear
                             display  single
                             texture filtering antisotropic sample on
texture filtering negative LOD bias  allow
                             texture filtering quality   quality
                             texture filtering  trilinear opt.  off
                             triple buffering   off
                             vertical sync      force off

I have also tried different combinations of theses from ideas from various forums. that is what i have left it on now

Re did video drivers again.......a lot better, blurries lot less, but doesn't like cities, scenery slow to update( need a faster sysytem!!!)
Same problem still showing on direct 3d test.
