Sound Question

Are the FS9 sound files compatible with  FSX?  Have many good ones in FS9 and would like to use them in FSX. :-/

Which sound files are you talking about?
Sounds from the main fs sound folder or sounds from a specific aircraft?
In either case I am fairly certain there is no difference between the files from FS9 and FSX.
I am sure that you can not use edit voice packs from FS9 8-)

Thanks Gary.I meant the engines etc sound for specific A/C. Will give some a try in FSX
