DX9 or DX10??????

i have a question???? how can i find out if i can upgrade to DX10 with my video card?

my video card is a BFG 7950GT OC 512meg ram.

my comp specs are
3.20 Ghz 533 Mhz intel celeron D
1 gig of ram with 4 gig's of virtual ram
BFG 7950GT OC 512 meg ram
500watt power supply

great card but unfortunally you can not run dx10 aplications, you need a nvidia 8 series card or a ati 2 series card.
