This is a little hard to explain, but appears to be a bug.
1:- I select a plane create a vfr flight plan. and fly. I look around with locked spot, spot etc. take some screen shots. Lovely
2:- I select end flight and return to the main FSX screen.
3:- I decide to fly from the airport I just landed at with the same plane, I create a new vfr flight plan, select fly now, and wait for the loading time.
4:- I set up the auotpilot for after take off, get clearance and select locked spot. only to find it's zoomed right in on the plane and taking it to .30 zoom distorts and creates a fisheye effect. same with spot view.

This only happens if I keep the same plane, If I go to select plane and re-select the same craft, It's ok, but without I get the wierd views. Anyone else had this, or indeed understands what I mean?????

Hello. I find that if you make a new spot or locked plane view and then delete the one you currently had you will have the new view blown up and back to normal.

Have you tried pressing "Backspace" key. That refreshes the view. It also helps if you have trouble zooming in or out after switching views.

Unfortuanatly that is the first thing I try...but it doesn't move. The "default" view for it then is .30 (or whatever that zoom is). If anybody knows what causes this besides just an error in the FSX system then please help us. The new view thing is the only way I know of.
