I don't fly set routes, except when i'm flying in between areas that I fly the most, like the Pacific Northwest/West Coast and Alaska.... ;)

If you fly commercial, there's something wrong if you're not proficient with a Cessna.... ;D

Try flying your Cessna from Banff to Calgary.  That'll test your VFR.  It's also testing to fly a commercial jet from say, Vancouver, to Calgary.  The altitude restrictions will really test you.

Hey, mods, I thought this forum was politically free - but I would think a banner proclaiming the Iraq campaign could raise some eyebrows.  It does mine.

Its not stating a political view, just the name of the war.   Also If i remember correct I think he has a right to have that, being hes actually in it at the moment.  ;D   Just my two cents,  ;)

Perhaps you might like to think twice about trying to pick a fight...  Your attitude will get you into trouble a lot quicker than that banner will.

No I am not trying to pick a fight, and I resent the comment.  It is not me who has made, or ever has made a political statement. In my opinion that banner does.

So umpire, who do you listen to - a particular partisan declaration- the banner - or people who enjoy the site without politicalm social or religious conversation and who do not need, or have to know, the personal inclinations of other members.  The only interest we share, and can share, is a common obsession with flight simming.

As was stated above, I think that the fact that Andrew is in the middle of the above mentioned war, he pretty much has a right to use that banner.   ;)  The banner was discussed among the mods and at that time it was deemed acceptable, though not without reservation.

Sorry if I seemed a bit short before, it's been a rough weekend in the forums and we're all a bit on edge right now...    ::)

Fair comment.  And if Andrew is there he has my respect and prayers.

I do this trip quite often as they`re both near me in real life, I`m in the middle of the two.  I found an EGGP update, it has raised lights on posts, updated buildings, the tower has been moved to the correct side opposite the buildings not amongst them.  The houses on what was the non tower side, nearest the river have been removed and its back to farmland, just how it is in RL.  I think it was on AVsim but if anyone can`t find it shout out and I`ll have a look.  All I want now is Barton Airfield changing slightly.......
