Hey Guys, Wishing you a nice day,
Has anyone figured out how to start your flight from the last touch-down ? Perhaps I've missed it somewhere but I'm having a difficult time starting where I put my float plane down as I explore the S.E. areas of Alaska. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks for your time on my request. caveman

At an airport I just write down the gate number when I contact ground control. That's easy enough... Landing on open water or at a lake somewhere in the wilds of AK, to my knowledge, can be continued by saving the flight after landing and taxing to your mooring. Either that or jot down your coordinates and start from that setting. I really haven't tried any of this in FSX but do it quite regularly in FS9.

After you land and shut down, save the flight and to make it easier.. make it the default flight (check the box)..
Then when you start the sim again..just click "Fly Now" and you'll be right where you left off.. engine off and all.

The FSUIPC module (unregistered) automatically saves the 'previous flight' in the same manner that FS9 did by default.

I have flown cross-country (USA)in a 172 many times using the exact method Brett has mentioned. Don't know if it is the best way to do it, but it has worked flawlessly for me. :)
