Iris YF-22 Afterburner Issues

Postby Stubbedtoe18 » Sat Aug 04, 2007 2:10 pm

I'm not sure why this is happening.  The textures are appearing right below where they should be.  How do I fix this?  Is it just because I'm runing it in FSX?

Short answer: yes, fsx is doing it.

However, i don't know about how to fix it.
That's 20,000 points!

All I got to do now is find a one-legged nun walking a goat and I win.

Open the aircarft.cfg and edit the afterburner effect location in relation to the model.
Intel Q6600 @ 3.2Ghz cooled w/ Zalman 9700
4GB G. Skill DDRII @ 800Mhz

I've tried to change the values in aircraft.cfg below. However, when I do so, it moves both the flame effect and the ring effect when all I want to shift is the flame effect as the ring effect is already in the right position. Does anybody have any ideas on how to do this?

(these are the values I edited under LIGHTS)
light.3 = 6,   -21,    2.5000,     2.500, fx_f22burner
light.4 = 6,   -21,   -2.5000,     2.500, fx_f22burner

Here is a picture where you can see the ring above the flame: http://img529.imageshack.us/img529/224/ringfc9.jpg

Thanks everybody!
