iFly 747 FMC

ok i know there is a manual on the plane but it is 307 pages and 1. i'm to lazy to read it all ;) and 2. i'm to lazy to find the part about programming the FMC

what i want to know is how can i make the FMC program a flight i already inputted the orgin, destination and runway but what does CO route mean? and anything else i need to do to make the dang thing work haha


thanks for helping me with my laziness on reading a manual haha

CO route = Company route

Some airlines stores their routes in the FMC, this is more common in smaller airliners who flies static routes.
In 747's, dispatchers usually makes optimizied routings that takes advantage of the prevailing winds, but I assume some airlines use stored routes on the 747's aswell.

Anyhow, you simply type the routename in the CO ROUTE window and you get all the waypoints instantly.
Only thing you have to do is to choose departure runway and SID...and the route is completed.
