Is it true that people run fsx on a Pentium 3 880mhz and 256mb ram? Please prove ure answer thank you my friend.

they may but they wont be getting any sort of quality out of the sim.

If you don't mind a slideshow even on the lowest settings, go right ahead. You may want to revert to FS2002 or even FS2000...

I've tried running FSX on my 2.2Ghz AMD Athlon 64 with just 512MB RAM. It didn't work very well at all, which is why I have gone back to using FS9 until I can get more RAM and a better video card. That being said, I can only imagine how the weaker system you mentioned is much worse. Ugh.
More importantly, perhaps, would be the question, why do you want to know? Are you considering the purchase of FSX and the above system specs are what you have? Was this part of a debate with a friend? I'm just curious . . .

The FSX demo was a 1 FPS slideshow on my 2700+ with 1.5Gb Ram and a 128Mb 9700Pro...
