A download that adds heat waves to runways?? I think it would be a nice feature for flight sim.

Yeah I have, I was looking through the fs9 misc section and I saw it in there somewhere. I'm not sure if it works in FSX or not though :-/

No, not the engine heat, but the heat waves coming off of the runways when you are at an airport. You know, the clear wavy stuff you see rising off the roads when it's hot out?? It looks like the heat out of the engines, it just comes off the runway.

I get what you mean...I think its known as heat shimmer...You can see that effect in Grand Theft Auto San Andreas....

I'm pretty sure there was a program though that allowed the heat to rise on the runways....or was it jet engine heat? Not sure...sorry.

No its not, its simply not. People have tried to mimic LOMAC's heat blur for ages, failing miserably.
