Bad comms

Although recently signed up I have had great fun adding on many aircraft from this site and due to a PC crash I reloaded FSX from scratch and eventually managed to also install Service pack 1. Everything seemed OK except that NOW & AGAIN voice OF ATC gets scrambled up with accompanying buzz.
Also the FSX background intro music is poor and jumpy, and on starting up FSX I get a female voice , unitelligable, just part of one word!!! Weird, any ideas as it all worked fine for the last few months (without SP1).

Do you have Wheelcam installed?

This would explain the female voice on FSX startup.


And update your audio drivers.

Yes Thank you Bjorn I did download wheelcam- so one problem explained.
I will research drivers for the audio. I thought they would be fairly up to date as when the PC crashed- power overload- I had to buy a new power pack and motherboard with new audio set-up so will follow through on your suggestion- many thanks

The first time I loaded FSX up with Wheelcam on that voice scared the bejeebies out of me!
