Aircraft Selection...

Okay, so when I select a plane, and it shows the preview (where you can click and rotate it around), it's just black (no matter what aircraft I select). I wait for it to load, but it never does. Sometimes it may show the plane for a split second, then goes black. It doesn't do this 100% of the some, just occasionally. Has anyone ever had this happen?

yes: either run a repair with your FSX to see if it is a corrupted file

or.... your CPU is overloaded.  Turn off everything you don't need, including Antivirus to give yourself more CPU cycles - and get rid of any of those downloads that offer free cleaning, free anything, as they come with heavy advertising demands.

Get yourself a decent defrag - O & O, Ultimate Defrag, Perfect Disk, you name it and most give a free trial.  Do a File/Name defrag.

You're right, I might just be overloading the CPU. I think I had a couple other applications open at the time, so I'll close them up next time and see if that does it. Thanks!
