seat adjustment?

:D  I have noticed in some of the aircraft in FS9, in the cockpit mode, that there is an eyepoint or seat adjustment gauge.  It has two arrows pointing up and down.  In FS9 this can also be achieved by assigning joystick commands.  In FSX this can be achieved also but it applies only in the VC mode.  I realize that I can zoom in and out to achieve this to some degree but in the cockpit mode the perspective loses something.  My problem is:  While piloting the aircraft in the cockpit mode, I cannot see what is directly ahead of me.  Is there a eyepoint gauge for FSX that will adjust the pilots seat?  In other words, lower the nose without losing altitude.

In the virtual cockpit use Shift+Enter to raise your seat, Shift+Backspace to lower.  In 2-D I think you use Control+Q and Control+Shift+Q to raise and lower the seat.  That should help.
