I downloaded the multiplane package from good old simv for FSX. However the plane starts at the runway end with the ground vehicles in place, and they move down the runway and into the air with the bird.
Anyone lese had this problem or know how to sort it. looks like a lovely plane to fly.

Turn the lights on.
PS... do the flaps work on your setup?

turning the lights on worked but....
flaps make a noise but don't work. no gauges in cockpit, autopilot heading hold doesn't work, always goes to 360.
Apart from that perfect

They are nice models, though.
I still remember flying in them from San Juan to Mayag

Can't help you over the problem with the model, although I suspect some of the ground vehicles might have better flight characteristics than the real world Heron. DH knew how to create parasite drag, and fit underpowered engines.
It was the first aircraft that I ever flew in. I was 15yrs old, and I was hooked.
Later on I became an instrument rated multi-engined GA pilot.
I flew from Nelson NZ to the long gone Rongatai airport close to where today's Wellington airport was built in the 50s.
Before that we had to cross Cook Strait in an old ferry - really a coastal steamer.
My first trip to the States - Sydney-Honolulu-Los Angeles - was in a 707. And every passenger who wanted got to visit the flight deck. And the kids could stretch out on the floor and go to sleep. The kids saw their first McDonalds in Honolulu and we all ate the fantastic burgers (exotic food from a country that specialised in fish and chips or Chinese as a take-away) - though maccas it seems is a crime to eat these days. They were the olden days.
And if you think that makes me old, I am.
