When downloading the Log Book Editor I found I require "Java Run Time Enviroment". Now when I went to the place to download I found I cannot download the install file.

Reason wanting to do so is because I do not connect to the net with my flight station (PC) but my laptop. Since the Java install onto the pc.

Is there a way I can get Java install file, load it onto my memory stick and install on my other pc?

Thank you..

Regards,

Mouse

The only way that might work is if the install file does not need a internet connection. If the file you down load is a complete package then you can download it onto a thumb drive or other removeable media and then install it on the other system. I am not sure if the JAVA program is in this catagory. There are a lot of programs downloaded that have just a installer and none of the needed files with it therefore it must connect to the internet in order to down load the files. 8-)

Thanx, I found the "Offline" version, a version one can download, back up and install on another PC, just hope it is legal  ::)
