Seems if you have autogen on a high setting youll have trees and buildings in the flight path.
I know this was a problem in FS9 and there was a mod to remove the autogen within a certain distance of the airport. Is there such a mod for FSX?

KDSM:  I have the same highly frustrating problem, and  I even unistalled an add-on scenery because of this problem.

Like whoever had a high rise building slap bang at the approach end of an ILS runway.  Aviation authorities would order instant removal.

I'm waiting to see how such utilites as Instant Scenery work, so that I might start getting rid of the most egregious of these.

Maybe someone with more detailed knowledge can help us with an approach to mod these bad news placements.

Yep, make an exclude area.

There's many tools out there and maybe even some explanations on how to use them.
