Hi, all

Is it possible to change default install folder (program files\microsoft games\....) for FSX? I have not enough available space on my first partition, and I would like to change it to something like d:\games\....

THanks a lot!

:D   Sure, when you insert the first DVD, click on custom install and pick your spot.  I have 3 hard drives so I just change the install letter from "C" to my "F" drive.

Thanks for you prompt reply :-)

I can't remember if there was this install option (custom), but I will try to reintall FSX.

What about my saved game? Does uninstall procedure removes saved data?

THanks again!

Yes, but at My Documents/Flight Simulator X Files you can get all of your saved flights and flight plans.

Thanks again. This community is very, very cool ...

So, its enough to backup saved data, uninstall, install again into a new folder and put backup files back at application data folder?

Thanks a lot!

Look for a small program call 'Application Mover.'  It's freeware and should do the trick for you, and it's not just for FS...  ;)
