Hi all, I,ve downladed various aircraft and some that come with vc's dont display gauges, some do. particulaly the hughes 500 in fsx helicopter files i'd like. any ideas please?

When you load an aircraft for the first time, you get many popups asking you if you want to execute each gauge.
Are you sure you selected "execute" and then "yes" on the next popup ?
Are you sure you didn't get an additionnal popup telling that a gauge was incompatible, made for FS98 ? If yes, then the concerned gauge wil not display.

Of course, you also have to be sure that the gauges of the aircraft you have downloaded are correctly installed, that is, either in the gauge folder of FSX, either in the panel folder of your plane.

Same here. I downloaded the OH-6A Loach in the FSX section and I selected the aircraft out of the aircraft list and no popups, no nothing. Just the radio shows up and that's it. Oh and I put all the gauges in the gauges folder. Anyone have s solution to this?

I just checked it out. Works fine for me. Paste the 2 files from the gauges folder (fx_vclight_deepred.fx & oh6.cab) into FSX\Gauges.

PS. Most aircraft in the FSX section are updated FS9 models. Some of these I've tried only have an updated 2D panel & the VC gauge entries have been removed. This would explain why some aircraft with a DVC have no gauges.

one of them is an FX file. That goes in effects.
