Hi All,
I hope someone can help me with this.
Everything seems to be working fine with my flight sim x,then all of a sudden the game minimises,as though i have minimise the program myself, everything is then locked up ,this can happen 5 mins into a flight or longer,i do a ctrl alt delete to bring up task manager and it is saying that the program is running but i have to end task as everything else is locked up.As soon as the program has let go,everything on my pc is fine.I have got the sp1 flight sim x update installed and also the duo core update but still this problem is happening.
I have dual core processors 2.40ghz,gforce 8600 gts graphics card,2048 meg ram,my graphics card drivers are up to date too.
Many many thanks in advance for any help .Mikey.

Welcome to the forums!

I have had this problem, but only when I recieve an IM on AIM (could that be the problem?).  I think the problem is that when the system minimizes the program, it doesnt have enough "strength" to bring it back.

Hi , i've also had this problem since first installing FSX,
I found that when it minimises, if I then press the ESC key, a box will pop up asking me if I want to close the program or continue. this has always brought the program back up to full screen,
Hope this might work in your case.

Hey thanks guys for all your help.
The program is doing it on its own for sure, but what i found was when it minimises,if i press the map button that i programmed on my joystick it brings it all back,im guessing that it will do the same if you press any control button on a joystick or keyboard.many thanks again for all your help !!!. :)
