Double Installation

Does anyone have any idea how to or if I can install FSX twice on my computer. I have a "CH" cockpit (yoke, pedals, throttle quadrant) and want to have a set up for twins and one for multies. It saves reconfiguring the throttle quadrant and various switch functions each time. I ran this with FS9, but when I tried with FSX, all I got was the options to delete or repair from the set up page. Or does anyone know how to have two set ups at a keystroke, either way I would be happy.

Not sure why you would want to do this but if you were to rename the FSX EXE file you might be able to install it on another drive. I am not sure if this will work decause of the way FSX is installed the firat time. Microsoft used a different procedure to install FSX so you might not be able to do this at all. 8-)

Maybe I should have been clearer in what I want. My thing is twins radials. To that end I have a piston set up of pitch, power and mixture. However I have a few aircraft with a four jet engine configuration, so I would also like to be able to use my quadrant for them too. To set up the Quadrant within FSX each time is a pain, hence my question.

On my Saitek Cyborg Force, you can creat profiles outside of FS and you just select the profile you want before you start flying. Does CH have anything like that?

How about two hardware profiles, from within Windows ? So with both sets of controls plugged into USB ports, each profile has unwanted conrollers disabled ?

Just create two different settings .cfg files, one for each setup.  Just load whichever one you want when you go in.
