I want to run FSX on decnt settings. My system is as follows:
Windows XP
3GB RAM
3.2GHz Proc.
Ati Radeon x600 Hypermemory 256MB
I'm a little iffy about the video card, but will I be fine?If not can someone point me in the direction of a decent yet relatively cheap video card.

It should work ok, with SP1, but without SP1 (service pack 1) it won't work that well, if at a playable frame rate at all

Is the processor a Pentium?
A good, cheap video card would be the NVidia 8500/8600 series.
And yes, the roads in FSX are quite accurate and way better than in FS9.

No what kind of Pentium (as Pentium is a group of processors) like a P4, or what it should say on the front of the computer case, or under Start > Right click My Computer > Properties, then read under Computer: ... to find out the processor information.

Yeah,its a Pentium.Is that bad?
Not at all. Just don't get too optimistic with the settings. Medium high to high settings will do the trick for you.

i would say medium at best, cos that x600 will not help at all.

Whoops, brain fart lol,its a Pentium D.And the deal with the video card should work out fine,I'll probably get a decent video card like the Nvidia mentioned, and put my ATI into another machine I have that needs one for lower-end gaming.Thats not to say my x600 isn't decent, but when I crank the settings all the way up on brand-new games I can notice a pretty good decrease in fps.Should work out fine with a new card. Thanks for all the help.

Wait a sec - what slot is that x600? PCIe? Or AGP?
