FSX autogen tweaks

Now that we have the service pack out with the performance fixes, i was wondering if the current AutogenDescriptions.spd, modified terrain.cfg, and default.xml tweaks are still applicable? Have some of the issues with these files been fixed, or do I still use the tweaked files? I noticed that in the autogen folder there are two new files AutogenDescriptions_min.spd and AutogenDescriptions_mid.spd. I assume they cut down autogens, but should I use them or the tweaked files? More to the point how do i use them, just rename them to AutogenDescriptions.spd?

Those _med and _min files do not cut down the autogen density, only the autogen variety, if I understod right.
I think that you can still use the old tweaks.

I wouldn't use the old default.xml and AutogenDescriptions.spb, since both these files have been changed/replaced with SP1. For the description files, the tweak is obvious, but I'm not sure if there ever was a tweaked default.xml, since I'm using one I tweaked myself (only cosmetical changes for Germany).
As for Ludowise's terrain.cfg, you can still use it.

daube - that is what I should have said. I know it reduces variety not density.
Bjorn - there is a tweaked default.xml, I have it sitting on my desktop. What you have said has confirmed my beliefs as far as the other files go.
All - What is anyone else's opinion about these tweaked files? And am I correct in guessing to use the new .spd files you just rename them?

Yap, just rename the one you want to use.
