Hoping there's a fix for this

Loading up some AI planes, and discovered the ugly truth...

(check out engine pylons & gear doors)

This is a PAI-downloaded aircraft; some appear OK and others have texture issues such as this. I recall a workaround was posted for having pre-FSX gauges work  by copying a file; wondering if there may be a similar fix for this. Nice to have the ramp traffic, but it will not be terribly enjoyable if certain airlines are "grounded" from my AI skies!

I don't think there is a fix for this at present. I just upgraded Ultimate Traffic to FSX and all the Flight1 AI planes look like the picture you have. There was a disclaimer on the Flight1 website that the AI planes were the old Flight 1/PAI versions and that there would be some visual anomalies to them.

I remember Mike Stone said something about certain parts of the Aircraft turning black.  He was saying how when he modeled planes, some parts he left blank or something like that where they werent visible.  In FSX, those areas appear as big black areas.  Maybe this is what is happening.
