Help!

Postby an-225 » Thu Jun 07, 2007 5:11 am

I'm experiencing some trouble with FSX...whenever I load a flight...I get a small black bar obscuring my view. This happens in all views, and (seemingly) only ever starts when I install a plane made for FS2004 (in this case, the Alphasim Orlynok, Alphasim S-47 Berkut and Alphasim MiG-25 Foxbat).

I have read other posts here about problems with FS2004 aircraft not showing up correctly for one reason or the other. I do not have a clue what might be causing the issue you are having but if the everything is ok without that air craft then I would leave it out of FSX. I am sure at some point in time you should be able to find the same aircraft  that  is made for FSX. 8-)

Eh, I was looking forward to a nice flight over the US in the MiG-25...can anyone else help me? I AM missing some gauges and textures for them - missing every gauge for these three planes - missing the VC textures for new MiG-25 and Su-47 Berkut repaints...maybe these things could be causing the problem(s). I have installed other FS9 planes (C-150, Kirk's Viper, CLS Airbus, CLS F-117A) and none of them have caused problems.

EDIT: Eh I fixed it.

"Set render_3d_window=1 to =0"

It might prove a good idea to add this to the FAQ section.
